Let us tell you that Apple supported Picture in Picture mode with iOS 14, although it was only for FaceTime and video watching. PIP was not supported by the YouTube app. It is said that the new update will be available to premium users of YouTube first.
The biggest advantage of the PIP update will be that iPhone and iPad users will now be able to multitask while watching videos on YouTube. The new update is currently available to US users, but soon it will be released to everyone.
