This village is in the Dargavs of North Ossetia, Russia. This area is very deserted. No one visits this place because of fear. Hidden amidst high mountains, this village has about 99 crypt-shaped houses made of white stones, in which the local people buried the bodies of their families. Some of these houses are even four-storeyed. Many types of beliefs are also prevalent among the people in this village.

It is said that these tombs were built in the 16th century. It is a huge cemetery. Every structure is said to belong to a family, and only members of the family are buried there.

There is a belief among the local people about the boat that the soul has to cross the river to reach heaven, so the dead bodies were buried on the boat.
